Committee Mandate

  • The Public Policy Committee (PPC) considers significant legal and policy matters that fall within CCGG’s mandate as determined by our Board. Over the past year, the Committee was involved in preparing responses to the following topics:
  • Ministry of Government and Consumer Services re: Comments on Ontario Business Law Agenda on Priority Findings & Recommendations Report.
  • CSA Request for Comments on proposed amendments to Multilateral Instrument 62-104 Take-Over Bids and Issuer BIds and proposed changes to National Policy 62-203 Take- Over Bids and Issuer BIds.
  • OSC Staff Consultation Paper 15-401 Proposed Framework for an OSC Whistleblower Program.
  • TSX and OSC Request for Comments on Proposed Amendments to TSX Company Manual to modify, expand and formalize certain exemptions available to inter listed issuers.
  • OSC Draft 2016-2017 Statement of Priorities.
