CCGG introduced the Governance Gavel Awards in 2005 to recognize excellence in shareholder communications by issuers through their annual proxy circulars focusing on executive compensation disclosure and the communication of director qualifications and board practices. Historically, CCGG has recognized proxy circular disclosure of Canadian issuers under two separate categories: a) Board Governance Practices & Director Qualifications and b) Approach to Executive Compensation. This year ARC Resources is being acknowledged for its disclosure under both categories.
If you have any questions or suggestions for the Governance Gavel Awards, please contact Tony D'Onofrio, Director of Board Engagement & Head of Research at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 416-363-8253.
